This new Every Lipid Serum SAS has introduced is definitely on my list of things to try on my sensitive rosacea skin. I think it could make a perfect lipophilic base, and then I also have my sea kelp for water soluble actives.

The ELS serum is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing. Three properties rosacea skin desperately needs. Another property from pomegranate may be that it curbs angiogenesis, which is always welcome on our overly perfused facial skin. I'd love to hear feedback from those with sensitive rosacea skin who try this, please.

-Artist
4/18 update: I think ELS may be best diluted for rosacea skin. It is too strong used straight on mine. Perhaps 5 or so drops per ounce of base might do the trick. Cheers! -Artist

I have been using ELS for about a week now. I really like it. I have very thin skin on top of my cheek bones with surface capillaries and it is very sensitive there. My cheeks get irritated and red very easily. I look in the mirror today and they look really good now. Maybe it's because of ELS. I have been using it with sea kelp, Centella Asiatica, Allantoin, Green Tea EGCG, etc.

Jazzi are you mixing all those actives with the ELS?

I have the sea kelp mixed with the actives, every time I get a blob of it on my hand add 3-4 drops of ELS, mix and spread them in my hand, then apply to my face, and neck area.

I will have to try it mixed with something, maybe at 1%. I tried it straight on my sensitive rosacea skin and felt a little irritation. I would love to to get those lipids into my skin since it tends to run dry. Thanks for this feedback!

I've been using the ELS this week. Still playing around with what works best on my skin and in combination with each other. I am finding I have to be careful not to overdo it (likely goes for any oils) otherwise I over-run my absorption rate but using it straight, I am not finding any irritation - though my skin isn't easily irritated by most things so I'm not a great test model.

I find my Canvas Based concoction pills a bit less if I use it after the ELS and remarkably, the canvas appears to go in just as well as without using ELS prior. I thought I recalled reading in another thread about someone's mixture pilling but I can't seem to find it again. Mine only does it a very tiny bit so it's not a concern, esp. using it after applying ELS and besides, I'm still experimenting.

I haven't added anything to the ELS as I have enough actives in my seakelp based cleanser and my canvas base moisturizer. I'm thinking of concocting a water based serum and possibly alternate between it and the ELS.

Anyone using ELS in the bath? Amounts?
