Reply with quote | #11 | OK here is my home made concoction:
Alba basic emollient lotion - 4 oz KGF - Chrysin niacin Idebenone (it is somewhat allergenic - try CoQ10 instead) Copper peptide (newly added)
I am 50 years old, and have always had rather flat hair (though not thinning per se.) I wanted to see if I could make it fuller, as well as reduce a "whorl" at the back of my part, that I've had forever.
I have been using this concoction (but without the copper peptide) for about a month. I noticed right away fewer hairs lost whilst /after shampooing - from quite a lot (30-40 /normal) to almost nothing. The whorl also seems less noticeable / more obscured.
Since reading about copper peptides in other hair health topicals (at other online sites), I added that too (today). I will report back. The other copper peptide hair topicals suggested twice-weekly use.

Reply with quote | #12 | There are lots more in our hair serum with KGF. Any reason why you are not using our serum?

Reply with quote | #13 | "Please remember that you are telling our clients that KGF causes hair loss, which contradicts the research published in scientific journals. I do accept anecdotal evidence, but only when there is no research published. "
I would be interested to read the published articles that you are refering to. Can you post a link or point me to them please. Thanks!

Thanks so much! I have a compulsive need to over research everything! But it makes me feel more comfortable about putting things in or on myself if I know how it is supposed to be working. |
