I could use all the collagen help I can get.  This appears to aid collagen production.  Marketed in a crystalline powder, so packaging should be in line with current products.

Hydroxyproline can't be used by our skin to make proteins, so it is useful just as a marketing gimmick.

Proline is one amino acid incorporated to proteins in our cells. Later on, some proline residues in proteins like collagen, may be modified AFTER protein synthesis. In short, your skin can use proline, but not hydroxyproline. Vitamin C is useful to collagen synthesis because it is needed by the enzyme that modifies proline.
