Reply with quote | #2 | It is an extremely emollient mix, and I think your best approximation will be our Dream Cream.
The problem is that by buying our Dream Cream you will not feel like a spoiled brat who is spending a ridiculous amount of money in "rewarding:" yourself. Also, you will not be rewarding the very deserving marketing people in Sisley who came up with words like these:"At the heart of this exceptional night skin care: Phyto-complex LC12, a powerful combination of active plant extracts, based on Sisley’s research on cellular life. It works at night, a key moment for skin regeneration, to repair past damages and to prepare the cells’ future". Poetry in action, right?
Maybe we should charge $750 for 50 mL (one and half ounces) of our Dream Cream to appeal to people that feel better when they are spending silly amounts of money. I prefer to feel clever, the way I feel when I know that I am buying the best possible product for the best possible product.
The ingredients in Supremya are:
Water, Shea Butter, Squalane, Sunflower Seed Oil, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Krameria Triandrea Root Extract, Butylene Glycol, Peach Seed Extract, Padina Pavonica Extract, Rice Extract, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Malt Extract, Wheat Seed Extract, Cotton Seed Extract, Rose Flower Extract, Willow Leaf Extract, Mineral Oil, Lauryl Glucoside, Polyglyceryl-2n Dipolyhydroxy-stearate, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol. shiitake mushroom, Rhodochrosite Extract, Physalis Alkekengi Calyx Extract, Panthenol Glycosphingolipids, Argenine, Ceteareth-20, Acrylate/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Dipropylene Glycol, Bisabolol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sorbic Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Tetrasodium EDTA, Michelia Alba Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Citris Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Chlorphenesin, Potassium Sorbate, BHT, Tocopherol. (Cont. Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Linalool, Limonene), Natural Fragrance.
Needless to say, I am not impressed by the number of ingredients with Latin names (I am also a Botanist) and number does not make up for the low concentration. What could retinyl palmitate (vitamin A) do for you when it is present at a concentration lower than a preservative?
