A refresher (from our glossary):

With iron and copper chelating ability, this extract is a perfect complement for chrysin in the treatment of dark under-eye circles. Amla helps protect the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals, and metal-induced oxidative stress.   Contains polyphenols (tannins) like gallic acid and ellagic acid, linked together to make other tannins.

Amla extract has been found to have chemopreventive acitivity, i.e. the capacity to prevent cancer brought about by chemical cancer causing agents.

Amla is colored, so you are limited in how much you can add.

Would Amla Extract work in Bright-I?  I bought some of that and can't remember why at this point.  If it works, how much would I mix into it?

I was just noticing that Bee1 listed a bunch of ingredients she added to the Bright-I cream, but I'm mystified as to why she would add things that were already in it?

That was posted 4 years ago. I don't even know what the ingredient list for our Bright-I was at that time. In any case, the advantage of Skin Actives is that people can play with our products and our bases. In my opinion, whatever works for our clients, is OK by me.

Sorry, I thought the 3/10 date was March 10.  I would also like to reply to NLauer that I add AMLA to my bright-I and it mixes fine (just use a tiny amount), but I don't really see any difference, but I'll use it anyway!

Hannah- I need to re-order my Bright-I and see you have a new tightening one. Can't wait to try it.
Can you tell me all the ingredients?

Thanks.

I think our Bright-I is still the same. There was a bonus and we may switch to the new formula if the feedback justifies it.

Would love to know if anyone has tried the new Bright-I cream with Pullulan and how you like it!
