Is this gentle for rosacea skin? Anyone with rosacea use it? I really want to incorporate vit c into my routine but cannot tolerate it much. Should I just get MAP and make my own with a very small %? Perhaps a 5% solution?

I have been using CHAS for a few months, once a day on my rosacea skin,  and have not had any problems.  I think that it's great and my skin feels really smooth after I apply it.  I would definitely recommend that you give it a try.

hi sue,
thanks for giving ur feeedback. i was also wondering if CHAS was suitable for rosacea. I plan to try it after using the rosacea serum for a couple more mths. right now im focused on thickening and stregthening my skin's barrier. once i have that settled, i'll start an intensive antioxidant regime!

I have Rosacea and find I can't use the CHAS every day.... yet. I don't flare, my skin just feels very sensitive.

Hannah, is it OK to add a little bit of Melatonin to CHAS? Any reason not to?

THanks,

Is melatonin helpful for rosacea?  I have a bit of rosacea, not too bad, but a friend has it pretty bad so I've been trying to take notes on what helps so I can whip something up for him.  The product catalog doesn't mention rosacea under melatonin, but it looks like somthing I'd like to try myself if it helps rosacea too.

Thanks,
Jorena

Hi Jorena... I don't know if Melatonin is indicated specifically for Rosacea. It is an anti-inflammatory so I'm thinking it might not be bad for Rosacea. I'm trying it out--I'm primarily interested in the combo of Melatonin and MAP for skin elasticity.

Yes.  It's for that same reason, the MAP-melatonin for skin elasticity, that I would like to try it.  Let us know if it helps the rosacea.

Can't see why not. Check for solubility first.

Hmmm.  I wonder if it was the niacinamide in the CHAS that made my rosacea itchy and flare, or if I made a mistake when I layered first Rosacea Control Serum, then applied CHAS?
