Hi Everyone,

I just would like to share one of my recent creations. First, a confession: I have (perhaps unhealthy) obsession with facial oils. I have all kinds, and I buy in bulk. I use different oils for different purposes. I use them neat, and I also use them to make creams, balms and soap.

I have dozens and dozens of oils but these are my must have:

Rosehip
Pomegranate
Tamanu
Argan
Borage
Black Cumin Seed Oil
Evening Primrose
Olive Squalene

Since discovering SAS, I recently added some oil soluable actives to supercharge my oils. Here is the recipe:

SOUPED UP FACIAL OIL

4oz Facial Oil (Your own favourite oil combo / EMUlator / ELS /or just one favourite oil)
1 tube Coenzyme Q10 powder
1 tube Gamma Oryzanol
1 tube Phytosterols
1 Large Pinch Alpha Lipoic Acid
1 Tube Ascorbyl Palmitate
1/2 tube Alpha Bisabolol
4 Squirts of Anti-Ox Booster
1/4 tsp Vitamin E

Optional Additions (Optional)
1 Tube Ceramides (no need to use if using ELS)
1 Tube Tetrahydrocurcumanoids

I heated just one ounce of my facial oil blend, in a glass jar in a pan of simmering water, and stirred my actives in one at a time in the heating oil. Once disolved I removed from the heat and added in the remainder of the facial oil blend, vitamin E and anti-ox booster. Stir to combine and decant to 1 oz dropper bottles.

To use, I add 2-3 drops to whichever SAS cream I'm using, and spread gently over a moist face, neck & decollete. You can use your SAS Marine toner for misting your face gently, rose water, or distlled water. It absorbes beautifully.

I gave one bottle to my mom, my aunt and my girlfriend. But, if you want to keep the whole recipe for yourself, just refrigerate the remainder until ready to use. We've all been using this for a couple of weeks and have been happy with it. I may add Ceramides and Tetrahydrocurcumanoids next time though.

Hope you like this recipe, if you decide to try it out, let us know how you like it.

Best,
~ Josie
