The following daily regime is based on our Essentials.

Please let me know what you think.

Recommended Facial Regime for Anti-Aging

Essential Kit Includes:

-        Antioxidant Day Cream 1oz

-        Collagen Serum 1oz
Vitamin A cream

But you will need more for anti-age

Morning

1)     Cleanse:  Cleanse with a gentle formula to prepare your face for treatment.  Recommendations:

·        Sensitive/Normal  - Creamy Cleanser

·        Dry/ Sensitive - Cleansing oil

Toning. You don’t need toners containing alcohol, menthol, etc. If you like to “finish” the cleansing step, use cool water, a floral water (distillate, like neroli or rose) you like or an alcohol free toner.

2)  Treat:  Apply a thin layer of Collagen Serum (included) onto clean skin and let it soak for five minutes.  Other recommendations:

·        Vitamin C serum - For exfoliation, collagen synthesis, and hyperpigmentation

·        ELS - For skin barrier repair or very dry skin (use sparingly)

·        Coral Serum - For irritated or dry skin

·        DMAE serum - For a temporary tightening effect

·        T-Zone Serum - For excess sebum production

·        Dermagen - For dry skin or additional moisture

3)  Moisturize/Adjust emolliency:  Once serum is fully absorbed, apply a thin layer of Antioxidant Day Cream (included).  If cream is not moisturizing enough, use a few drops of oil for extra moisture or a thicker cream instead.

Oil recommendations:

·        Rosehip seed oil

·        EMUlator oil

·        ELS which will provide maximum skin benefits (use sparingly)

Thicker cream recommendations:

·        European Cream

·        Revitalizing Night Cream

·        Sonoran Cream

5)  Protect:  Apply a quarter-sized dollop of your favorite sunscreen to face and neck and let it set for a few minutes.  Recommendation:

·        SA Sunscreen – SPF 30 Advanced Protection

Evening

1)     Cleanse:  Remove eye makeup and wash face with your favorite cleanser.  Recommendation:

  • Sensitive/Normal  - Creamy Cleanser
  • Dry/ Sensitive - Cleansing oil

2)  Treat/Moisturize/:  Apply a thin layer of Anti-Aging Cream (included) and/or UV Repair Cream (included). Creams can either be layered or cycled (alternate during the week) to address all aspects of aging skin, especially decline in hormone production and mitochondria aging and decline in energy production.

·        Anti-Aging Cream – For nutrition, hormonal replenishment, etc.

·        UV Repair Cream – Treat sun damage

Note: aging skin is not oily, because sebum secretion decreases with age. If your skin feels oily, look at the products you are using.

It looks a good package and great instructions.

Its difficult to know if the UV Repair Cream or the Vitamin A cream would be better. Personally I would recommend Vitamin A and its good for layering. Although most ageing skin is caused by UV radiation I feel that the Vitamin A is more pleasant for people starting off, although I need to try the new version!

Perhaps you could offer an alternative?

This was just a draft.

We will not be doing this package, there will be only the Essentials that appeared in the newsletter, with Vitamin A cream, collagen serum and antioxidant cream.

Good suggestions though. I think setting out regimens for different situations could be helpful.

I found this very helpful, although it is just a draft. I have been a devout user of Skin Actives for 10 years, but I used to do the more minimal DIY approach adding and dabbling stuff when I had more time (and there were alot fewer Ready To Use formulas too).

Of course 10 years have gone by and now I am heavily into Anti-Aging! I just received my 4 pack of Serums, small 2 oz mask set, and got the Vitamin A cream and I also have a TCA peel for sunspots. I still have UV cream from before and of course my DIY day cream with Dermagen...feeling a bit overwhelmed AND EXCITED.

Going to sit down with this post and take a look at what makes sense as a regimen. Well, it's Friday and I'm not going out so....

I have been sick for a few days, hence my absence from the forum, so thanks Mark (again) for helping.

I am not very good at "regimes", I tend to be distracted by daily life. But our products are good and they work for most people, even if you are not persistent.

The best news are good results for acne, again and again. I still have to find somebody who was not helped by our acne control products, but I am always willing to listen and "teak" if something does not work.  As for aging skin, I found that the most annoying problems (for me, drooping eyelids, and I am sure my allergies don't help) are sorted our for a few weeks by even a few days of one product or another, collagen serum in particular. Then I forget to use it and the eyelids look bad again and I go back, etc. I am sure that being persistent would be so much better and faster, but it is also nice to know that even if you are not great at consistency, SAS products do help.

I am not trying to make sense right now, just letting you know that I am still here. Clearly, the 45C (108F) in Arizona are not helping with my cold!
