Hello, I heard about the EGF on another rosacea board and was wondering if I could mix this kit with the current moisturizer I'm using... or does it have to be the base sold here.  I use la Roche Possay soothing skincare.

Thanks!

EGF can loose it effectiveness when mixed with acids so if your existing product contains anything acidic (AHA, glycolic acid, retinoic acid, ascorbic acid...) then you will be better off to use the canvas base.

Hi...I have a question!

My main goal is to thicken my skin & even out my skin tone.

I use both Ascorbic acid, MAP & EGF.

I mix EGF in sea kelp. I mix MAP in canvas. And use Ascorbic acid in water as a toner.

I do use them all at once. But you said the EGF isn't good with Vit C....

How should I use them so I can keep the effectiveness of all of my actives?

Any suggestion will be appreciated....

The MAP shouldn't bother the EGF since MAP is not acidic.  Just leave a little time in between applying the ascorbic acid toner and the other stuff.  Or, you could apply one in the AM and the other at night.

Ohhh I didn't realize that about EGF. Hyaluronic Acid is ok, right? It's not acidic. I tested it in water with a ph strip and it was about a 6.

I think La Roche Posay should be fine. I've used them before and I'd be surprised if any acids were in their sensitive skin products.
