I read on a website that octinoxate is so small it can enter our bloodstream. Is that true? Should I look for encapsulated octinoxate, which is put inside a silica bead so it becomes larger?

In theory, anything can enter our blood stream, but it does not happen. It is a matter of numbers, our bodies are perfectly capable of dealing with almost anything, unless we are overwhelmed with large amounts. You could probably eat octinoxate and you would be OK (it probably does not taste nice, though).

This sounds to me like the scare tactics of companies that try to scare us away from buying their competitors products.
