I plan to try this to create a moisturizing gel/serum, any recommendations? Should there be a specific ratio of oils:water?

Combine and let sit overnight:
Jojoba oil (qty?)
Rosehip Seed Oil (qty?)
Antioxidant Booster (1oz.)
Ceramides (1 gram)

Heat and add:
Emulsifying wax(qty?)

Combine separately:
Distilled water (qty?)
Hyluronic Acid (1gr)
Niacinimide (5gr)
Germaben II (qty? 0.3-1%)

Heat water mix to simmering and add:
Glycerin (qty?)

Add water/glycerin mix to oil/emulsifying wax mix.

I would suggest that you google " lotion making " or something like this.. this is very ambitious and first timer should make a v simple lotion, may be just water n oil n preservative at the first try... that way u ll not be wasting expensive actives till u gain some experience...

anti ox booster just a few pumps at most not the full oz!!!

Thanks, NYC.

Please remember that cosmetics chemists usually get a degree in chemistry and then go to school for a post-graduate course in cosmetic chemistry.

I think I will just keep it two separate simple serums. One with water soluble actives and one with oil soluble actives.
