Can the European Cream be substituted for the Canvas Cream in the Formulation for Beginners Kit?

Also, can I add Co Q Enz 10 and Nat Active Peptides along with the EGF and Anti Oxi Booster?
What about adding Ceramides?

Is there anything else I might want to add to make this a great moisturizer?

I am trying to come up with a day time anti aging cream that would be more moisturizing, to perhaps alternate use with the SAS Anti Aging Cream or layer on top for more moisture.

In summer the Anti Aging is fine most days, but in winter something more moisturizing to alternate with it or use over it is what I'm always reaching for.  The Dream cream is a little heavy for that, and I already use the ELS, but a little heavy for all over the face.

Hannah, if you could come up with a bigger size Anti Aging that is more moisturizing I think a lot of people may have the same problem as me.  We need something in between....

Hi tton,

Look for an email coming from kathryn@skinactives.com regarding the formulation kit. In regards to your mixing question, it will be fine to add all of those to a cream. You could use Dermagen instead of just Natural Active Peptides to add collagen but boost the moisturizing properties.

Every Lipid Serum is a great moisturizer, but if it is too much for your skin you might want to try adding some to the cream. You could even use the ELS to dissolve the ceramides and then add that to the cream base, or just substitute it for ceramides since they are already in ELS.

You will have to experiment with the ratios and ingredients to see what works best for your skin, but adding Dermagen and ELS would certainly help boost the moisturizing properties. Let me know if you have any other questions about this.

Thanks,

Kathryn

Thank you so much Kathryn!   I already have the Dermagen and ELS, so that is great!  Are you suggesting to add these to the canvas or the euro cream?  I'm looking to get a little more moisture than the euro as it is.

I think adding the shea butter along with everything else we mentioned above might be the ticket.

Hi Tonia,

You could add them to the Canvas or European Cream base, but you are correct that the European will be a bit more emollient. Shea butter will definitely add more moisture as well. Just add little bits at a time to get to a consistency that is right for you.

Thanks,

Kathryn
