First of all "Hi" to all.
this is my first post here. I am not sure whether this has been asked before or not?

I just received my package and I bought a Canvas Base Cream (4fl) and Copper peptide (GHK) 2ml. I read that 2ml of peptide is adequate for 4fl Canvas Base Cream. But i am confused since i have mix it.
I want to make sure that i use this the right way.

The Questions are
*) Should i add the the whole of 2ml using the dropper into the 4fl of cream and Mix it with the spatula?
*)Once mixed what would be the Maximum shelf life ?
*)And thirdly would it need to be refrigerated or not?

Thank you.

Copper peptide is not very fragile but all products benefit from refrigeration.  Assuming you did everything "clean" the mix should be fine for 1 year or so.

I am interested in your point of view. What do you expect the copper peptide to do for you?

We have several nice videos on youtube showing how to mix.  There is also a new one in our last newsletter.

Thanks Hannah for your kind reply. Well i am just gonna go with Mixing 2ml of peptides into 4fl and mix it up with the spatula. It's winter here so it would probably do without fridge. [smile].

Well i got interested in copper peptides a few weeks back.My interest came primarily from the dr Pickart site. But since i am doctor and good reader i do realize that the actual CPs should Never be a MIX.so his site was complete NO NO for me.That's what brought me here.I heard great things about this site [smile].
The problem was i wanted to at least improve the appearance of my facial scarring.I used a combination of  Topical Tretinoin +Vitamin C (Topical). I wouldn't say there was no improvement .There was but Not quite.Later on i got interested in research articles. If you can recall almost all of us may have experienced when we were young that we usually healed better, almost scar free. And i came across numerous articles on Ncbi (Pubmed) showing TGF Beta 1 is involved in wound healing in Adults. And Embryonic tissue heals without forming a scar yet lacks TGF Beta 1. It got really interesting so i looked for more theory. And came across that

*)TGF BETA 1 is primarily responsible for healing in adults. But it leads to increased formation of scar forming collagen type 1.
*)Absence of TGF Beta 1 in adult mice showed delayed wound healing.
*)Embryonic tissue surprisingly lacks TGF BETA 1 but heals Great without forming a scar. And wound has type 3 collagen.
*)Copper peptides Inhibit TGF BETA 1.Increases Decorin. So in a way leads to Decreased scarring. And has double effect of increasing would healing.

An other astonishing thing i came across was Retin A and Matrixyl increase TGF BETA 1. You can also read up on Matrixyl site if you want.So Matrixyl is a sort of alternative of Retin A.I wouldn't say using Retin A and Matrixyl would increase scarring But it does leads to Increased Collagen Production Type 1 That also explains Plumping of wrinkles.

I know its a bit technical But my aim would be to Use Retin A for exfoliation .wait a few hours wash my face and then Apply Copper peptide. That way i would need TGF beta 1 (Induced by retin A ) in the right amount and Not in Excess!! and increased tissue remodeling from Cps.

I will keep everyone update about it . I hope wasn't too confusing [smile]

Your post is not too technical but it is missing references from scientific journals. I do appreciate your effort, but at present I don't think that information on copper peptide supports its use on scars.

We are preparing a gel for scars that should come out within a month or so. There will be an article coming out with it and will make sure to include the items you mention in the discussion.

I think it is a big mistake to use information in commercial websites. Matrixyl is a synthetic derivative of a peptide that exists naturally. They will do anything to sell it. Information MUST be from peer reviewed journals and even then it must be taken with many pinches of salt if the author belongs to a commercial enterprise.

Matrixyl will NOT replace retinoids.

If you want i can post the source of the journals for each of the statements i made... do let me know? I saved all the data in my computer [smile]..so it wouldn't be any problem post it here.
I will post it from PUBMED/NCBI
thanks

EDITED
Hannah, I am not taking information from any commercial website.I took it from PUBMED.If you allow me to publish all what i claimed you can see it for yourself. And articles on PUBMED aren't trying to sell off a product. They just show extensive researches they made on different fields of medicine. I came across articles on TGF BETA 1 that were published ranging from 1995 till now. It's effect on adult skin. None of them claimed to sell the product.I mean why would they. They are researchers. And if you doubt that these researches were done to undermine the product value then another question that can be asked is, was Matrixyl present in 1995..And before that.?

I prefer to leave it aside for now. I am traveling and prefer not to initiate a discussion when I do not have easy access to the literature.

Thanks for your understanding.
