I have very Itchy Zits all over my jaw Line! They won't go away. Does anyone know what what this is? Is this part of my rosacea or other zits that are itchy? I didn't know zits were normally itchy. Any suggestions? I have been using MetrogeL, after rosacea serum, and emu oil. Should I by the acne kit or the anti-inflammatory cream.

It sounds like allergy to me, but the truth is that I have no idea.

Try the anti-inflammatory cream and see how it goes.

I used to get red itchy splotches along my jaw line and hair line with my rosacea. My splotches were helped by using products with licorice. Over the counter, I had success with eucerin redness relief facial cleansing gel and night time cream, but I also had similar results from using creams I made with licorice from skin actives. The licorice made my skin less sensitive, which is why I think it helped get rid of the splotches. They have went away all together for me. Give licorice a try and see if it helps.

I get itchy bumps occasionally - mostly on the jaw line, sometimes on my cheeks.  Starts suddenly for no reason I can fathom and the itching drives me up a tree.

Mixing a bit of white willow bark extract into Marine Nutrient Serum and dotting on the bump(s) stops the itching immediately.  Since I have rosacea and don't want to irritate that, I apply the mixture just on the bumps.  Although I freely use MNS all over with no problem, I'm not sure if the white willow bark would be an irritant for me.

I've been doing this for at least a year, and find it VERY effective.  I also use this concoction on any pimples I feel forming and they never amount to anything if I start using it in time.

I am going to go try this right now; I logged in here to look for advice for just this problem!

Actually, my cheeks and jawline are madly itching and stinging; if I so much as lightly scratch one area, both cheeks go nuts and I want to scratch my face off.

I do have the Anti-Inflammatory cream, but my skin barrier seems to be compromised; anything and everything, even soothing creams I previously used, burn and sting.

Cetirizine (Zyrtec)  is excellent for itching and it is OTC.

Scratching only increases release of histamine, it makes things worse.

EMUlator and Dream cream can help, even if the skin "hurts".

Thanks Hannah!

I took a children's Zyrtec (smaller dose, I know) but it did help.

My dermatologist suggested it, she noticed the scratches!

I had tiny whiteheads all along my jawline (why there...?) and I haven't had any since I started using the collagen cream mixed with 4-Ethoxybenzaldehyde (just a tiny bit - it stings)
My daughter, who had a worse case of rosacea than myself had success with this formula, too...

Good Luck !!
