I am sorry hannah but I find it hard to find out if it is fact or fiction sometimes. What would be your proffessional say.

I am not touting copper just because I have done so in the past. I feel you make me out to be the SA copper junky.

Everyone beware the copper junky is lurking, you will know me if I appear at one of your get togethers in USA.

'' hes over there, the one with the blue face (Stained with copper)'' LOL

It is because you seem to say that copper is the solution for everything. It would be better if you told us what is your personal experience with copper, telling us what you used, what results you observed, and whether you had side effects.

As you know, we at SAS sell copper peptide, but I am always against increasing expectations beyond the evidence. It only makes people unhappy when they use the advertised active and they see nothing like what was advertised.

While using copper I noticed my facial hair was thicker where I used it and grew faster. That was before it was lasered away.

Anyway I would not have wrote it otherwise.

Does copper benefit hair hannah, i.e on head?

The only abstract I saw on effect of copper on hair growth was from Pickart and I take everything he says with a pich of copper.

Beth,

Just wondering why you add EGF to a hair serum... According to what I read about growth factors, you would not want to include EGF. Here is one reference (for a quick increase/decrease rating see the table 2/3 way down or so):

http://dermatology.cdlib.org/DOJvol4num1/original/jankovi.html

"Apart from IL-1alpha, both fibroblast growth factor (FGF) and epidermal growth factor (EGF) inhibit growth of the hair and hair follicle."

Hi, Frank

Thank you.  That was very interesting info.  As I said, it was for "kicks and grins".  (Not meaning to be flip.)  I use that concoction also as a liquid base for other things as well.  So far, I have seen no ill effects from adding the EGF.  Hair growth continues--slowly but surely. But now I'll be on the lookout.

Thanks again

Beth

Do you guys think one bottle of the KGF serum is enought to know if it is going to work? How long has it lasted you and where have you used it. I want to use on my husband's top of head . He has lots of hair still but thinning receding in front and thinning on back top. Is it lots more cost effective to get the larger KGF and make your own serum?

Our hair serum is priced VERY low and has a huge nuber of actives in it. I don't think there is a way that you will save money by making your own. The reason why I asked Jonatan to price it that way is to make it easy for people to use it because it will give KGF the best chance to work.

you are right on top of this board!! I just posted that question.

So do you think I need to get more than one bottle to see a difference? How fast do you think he would use it up for those areas. It is not like he has bald top. It is just those two areas for now. The rest is very thick. That makes it look even worse. Better to be all bald.

I was looking at the ingredients of my KGF serum last night and there are a lot of good actives in it.  Since the KGF is a signal the additional nutrients are helpful (maybe necessary depending on the person) to make that scalp really healthy and help the hair grow.

I did notice that I was wasting it a bit at first (it was all over my t-shirts) when I tried getting it on my scalp.  Now I am more careful and sort of put it on the top and sides at the root and find that it drips down along my scalp and I can spread it around with my fingertips.  I remember reading that someone else used a dispenser similar to the type on a hair dying bottle to get it where it needs to go.
