Hi Dana,
The cinnamon leaf oil does not come in the lip kit.  I bought mine at the local health food store.  There are tons of places online that sell it too.
I have gotten better - and more lasting - results with adding the ALA and DMAE to the liquid crystals.  Plus, using the actives helps your lips become more healthy, whereas the cinnamon leaf oil irritates and inflames your lips.  I dropped the cinnamon leaf oil from my lip plumper because it burned too much for my liking.  Since using the ALA and DMAE in my gloss, my lips are noticeably fuller even if I'm just wearing lip balm.

Angela, What percentage of ALA do you use? I made a 3% serum and it stings (not really painful) for about 10 min. after application.  Do you have any stinging? TIA

Yes, the ALA stings for about 10 minutes.  The thing I like about this lip plumper is that the actives are feeding my lips.  So much better than just putting a stinging irritant that has no nutrition on my lips.  And, the lasting changes brought about by the actives.  Wonderful!

Thanks Sandy and Angela, I'll try to find one... I live outside St. Louis in the boonies between cows and cornfields.

Angela, doesn't the DMAE turn your gloss runny?

Hi Dana,
As for the DMAE, I like the consistency of the gloss with it in it.  It isn't too runny for me.  If you want to thicken it, just add a bit of Hyaluronic Acid.  Good for your lips too!

Angela, I've been taking notes on your lip gloss mixture, but what is the lip kit?  I have been searching for it in the products and can't find it.  Thanks very much!

We don't sell it any more. You can replicate what used to be in the kit by purchasing the liquid crystal along with the custom kit.

I just received the liquid crystals yesterday (funky stuff!).  I mixed it with a little Anti-Ox Booster and Niacinamide.

Kind of made a mess with the whole thing and trying to get it all into the tube.  Any suggestions as to not waste half of it?

Is it possible to make it dark and more like lipstick?

Awesome lip conditioner!
