Debi,  I plan on starting out with this kit.  It has brushes and a great assortment, so I'm going to start there!

Jordan, Looks a great way to start, nice variety. You'll love the brushes, too!

If you like more coverage, you may want to try the Kabuki brush, otherwise the ones there will do nicely. And the concealer brush is amazing with the bisque as a concealer.

This will be a first for me.  Other than hating liquid foundation,  I'm still using the same brands of makeup I've used for about 25 years!
I don't like wearing makeup except for special occasions, but I need something easy to even out my skin blotches.

Hi!
I just wanted to add two cents...my lips wake up thick-coated every morning. The Liquid Rainbow...I added lots of ALA, a bit of Hesperidin and DMAE (which has barely dissolved...do you know how to dissolve it?).  I even added two drops of Cinnamon Leaf Oil to LRainbow, my blistex "Lip Medex", and an empty Lip Medex container I filled with vaseline.  I whipped each container very well, so there was no concentration in one part of it.
I ALWAYS save any small cream, etc. container...I never knew why, but now they are ALL handy!
Almost every day of my life, my lips have peeled, but not painfully.   And I am so very happy that they have a part of the skin to peel...I have NO wrinkles in my lips and I smoke!  I don't pucker my lips when I smoke, so I have no wrinkles, except for forehead furrow lines I treat with RetinA a few times a year.
I have found that facial cream with Chrysin and Eyeliss that is left on my fingers when I apply it is great on my forehead!
Luckily, my lips have always been a bright pink.  I attribute this to my peeling every day.  I don't need to use lipstick, but like the Liquid Rainbow feel with my additives.  However, they do NOT plump my lips at all!  It makes them a bit thicker, but only in the way that they stick out...not noticeable to anyone but me.
Best,
Jo

Thanks for that!  I mix my ingredients into Blistex's Lip Medix (sp?), and put it back in the same little pot.

For me, it's just easier to grab one at the grocery check-out stand when I need a new one.  There are several good OTC balms, too.  However, some people like colors and will appreciate that link!

One thing I have found, the DMAE is water soluble and makes the balms gritty.  The only way they go away is to lick your lips, which defeats the whole purpose!

Two Faced cosmetics new line of lip plumper's contain what is described as 'marine collagen'. Why not just add some dermagen, natural peptides, ALA, DMAE, and cinnamon oil to your liquid crystals for a moisturizing plumper which does actually work.

Has anyone noticed any results by using EGF on the lips?!
