Hi guys, I have terrible rosacea, loads of broken capillaries but it's the flushing that really bothers me. I'm 45, and also going through premature menopause. Withy the slightest heat or exertion, I go beetroot red, even my eyelids flush. It looks like I've tipped a kettle of boiling water over my face.  I've tried creams from the DR but nothing is working. I'm also getting crows feet and hooded eyes, and jowls which make the corners of my mouth turn down. I'm interested in getting advice for making a rosacea/anti wrinkle combo formula that my sensitive skin will tolerate. Any advice appreciated.. Actives are a minefield!

I would agree that actives are a minefield for a person suffering from rosacea.

Are you using anything right now? "Toners", Retin-A, anything that could worsen the rosacea?

I've not used any actives yet. I make my own face oil, but that's about it!

What do you use in your oil?

AVOID ESSENTIAL OILS (in caps!).

Sounds good, but consider that you may be allergic to any of them. If you are allergic, the symptoms may include redness and dry skin.

Never assume that a natural product is good for you.
