Hi Hannah this has been touted in the uk as wonder product £60 for 120mls

Water, Ethyl Alcohol, Aloe Essence, Hydrogenated Triterpene Mixture, Fulvic Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

Any thoughts or is it a rip off ( as usual)

Interesting.

Aloe essence does not exist.
Ethanol is not good for your skin or scalp
Fulvic acid is not a single chemical. From wikipedia: fulvic acids are humic acids of lower molecular weight and higher oxygen content than other humic acids. Product of degradation of organic matter, present in soil and used to "repair" soil by changing its capacity to retain water.

Taking into account that our scalps are not soil and we are not plants, I tend to think that this product, as a whole, will be bad for your hair.  There are nicer ingredients that can retain water.

I am still trying to find out what "Hydrogenated Triterpene Mixture" is, not promising. Triterpenes are actives found in Centella asiatica, and we use ursolic acid and oleanolic acid, also triterpenes, but "mixture" is too generic for my taste.

In short, run away!

I think it is interesting that our hair serum contains (almost) everything known to help with hair loss and hair thinning. But companies still go after the "magic" because magic will always sell. It has to do with our human brain.

Humans love "snake oil".  Nothing to do with the skin.

Please don't paste stuff you see  in those websites, it just spreads misinformation.
