I am new to this forum and hoping to get some guidance about what to buy to start to improve my skin on my face, neck, chest and hands. I am 61 and have some lines mostly around the eyes and lips and a loss of firmness along my jawline, neck and eyes. I have to be a bit careful about ingredients because I also have mild rosacea so some things sting or turn my cheeks red though I am able to tolerate some things that other rosaceans have issues with such as vitamin c and some aha exfoliators such as Paula's Choice skin resurfacer. My biggest issues are with fragrance and that many things clog my pores. I avoid glycerin and creams for that reason. I tend to be a bit oily still in my t zone and cheeks .   I am thinking of starting with one of the collagen serums and adding DMAE and Pullulan to it. Would this be a good way to start? Any guidance you all can give me is much appreciated.

I think rosacea should be the key here, because changes in the skin brought about by rosacea may bring permanent changes to the skin and the blood vessels in it.

I have discussed pores many times but it will be discussed again in next newsletter. Glycerin and creams should not be a problem in general, but heavy make-up products can be.

Why "resurface"?

I would suggest you concentrate in loss of firmness and lines. Try our Vitamin A cream at night and collagen serum day and night and you will see nice changes.  Forget about exfoliators, it is unlikely that you need them. Most people don't.
