yes, Emily and I changed the subject slightly. I am sure she is trying it to boost her capillary integrity.

Cheers!

Thank you everyone!!  I've learned so much reading everything posted, took some time, but well worth it.  I've just placed my first order and can't wait to get started.  A special thank you to those that have shared recipes, otherwise I really wouldn't know where to start.  Hannah, you are truly a gem.

Hi All.  First post here.

I have seb derm on my scalp and it sucks.

Currently I'm using Sea Kelp & EGF on my face for Rosacea and my skin is feeling wonderful.  The redness hasn't really gone away yet but most of the dry skin is gone and its now very smooth.

Could I use the Sea Kelp + EGF for SD on the scalp or would somthing else be better?  I also have another mixture of Sea Kelp + EGF + Niacinimide but have only tried this once ..

Thanks and great site.

Phytosterols will help.

Will look into it and come by with some suggestions.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum...been lurking about seeing what it is about...about me: short version-mild rosacea with seb derm added for fun! (nice.)

interestingly enough, I've dreamt about making my own stuff...and now I've found you guys!

Well, this message is for hotcanuck guy?...the fellow who has the seb derm on his scalp.

Well, I have seb derm on my eyebrows...and I control it rather well with Jojoba oil..plain and simple. I apply it 2x per day. At first, it didn't take...didn't do anything. So I left it and introduced it another time and it works wonders...my seb derm is gone, but if I stop applying it for a few days it's back (so I guess it's not gone just suppressed?)...anyways, my nephew also has seb derm and it completely cured him. If skinactives sells pure jojoba....buy it! Don't buy jojoba with E, A etc... I personally find those don't work as well, but everyone is different. I've also heard from friends that Olive Oil works well but it was too greasy for me.

I'm personally interested in making my own rosacea and capillary serums...but researching a bit more before I start to experiment. I've done sooooo much....that I want to make sure I"m not adding any more broken veins to the ones I've added from experimenting!

Thanks to all the people who've generously posted their recipes and trials/tribulations!

Gigi.
