I am new to this forum and one one word can sum up how Skin Actives makes my skin look. WOW!. That's it. My acne prone skin just loves this wash. It cleans without stripping (you know how some cleansers make you feel tight). The wash also helps keep my skin clear and has also reduced oil production. Hannah and Jonatan should be immortalized.

Hi AngelaP. I`m Norwegian, and don`t really know exactly what immortalized means, although it sounds faintly ominous....I love SAS products too. Only place I feel I can buy creams without being ripped off. Gonna try the salicylic wash next. I don`t have oily skin, but I\ve heard it can be used for anyone!

The salicylic wash can be used by anyone...it's not just for oily skin.

By the way, melasmagirl, 'immortalized' means 'to bestow unending fame upon; perpetuate.'

Ah, thanks GirlPaint, That's quite a compliment for someone! But, both Hannah and Jonatan are well deserving

I recently ordered a pack for my mum, and it came with this. She didn't want to use it as she had her own cleanser so she gave it to me.

I was skeptical at first I must admit. But this cleanser is actually pretty good. It cleans really well without stripping andmy skin feels super soft afterwards. It would've been better to have a higher concentration of BHA in order get more exfoliation, but I'm not complaining. It would also be better if it came in a larger bottle too.

is the wash 2% salicylic acid? because i can barely feel a tingling sensation, unline all the other salicylic washes i've used. im not saying the cleanser isn't effective, because it is, but im just wondering why i cant seem to feel the acid AT ALL?

There is a lot of other stuff in the wash, and I am sure it affects how the skin "feels" the acid.  Plus there is no alcohol in this wash, and what you thing is the acid may actually be the alcohol that most salicylic products contain.

Just some super late feedback on this. I found my bottle to be too liquidy. After squeezing some in my cupped palm I'd have to quickly wipe it on my face before it would drip off down my arm.

Is this normal?

Yes, it is a liquid. We could in fact add a thickener but I prefer not to add stuff just because, and most thickeners that I like will  not work in an acidic solution.
