Thanks Panda. That's what I needed to know. I just didn't want to mess it up.

Fut, I will try doing what you do and see how my naturally curly frizzy hair acts!

Thank you all for answering me and giving me such good advice!

Y apply the sea kelp after rinsing the shampoo and leave it overnight (if I am using it to relief itching) or rinse it after a few minutes if I have to go out.

Thanks Hannah!

I tried the overnight sea kelp treament, and that worked just fine. Now.... having said that. I tried to mix the sea kelp with my absolute favorite leave in conditioner Gliss Hair Repair Reflex Shine Care by Schwarzkopf. It didn't mix well at all. I'm wondering if it's because it has almond oil in it. It just balled up no matter what I did. I use my little mixer and added some Rose Hip Seed Oil and a little bit of canvas. It just would mix. So I now I know better! DANG! I just love this Schwarzkopf stuff! You can only get in the UK or anywhere in Europe. I was visiting a friend in Wales and had gone to their Woolworths and found it. It's been an absolute life saver for my hair. I use sparingly since I cannot get it too often. It just makes my naturally curly frizzy hair very soft and shiny. So sad... At least I know not to mix the two now. I'll just keep putting in the sea kelp all by itself.

KT,

If you are not planning to travel to Europe soon, let us have the ingredient list and maybe our skinactivists will be able to come with something similar.

Did you try just mixing a little of each in the palm of your hand and applying to your hair?  Sometimes this is the best way to mix ingredients that are not real compatible.  This is how I work with the sea kelp and any number of leave in conditioners.  (Actually, I do this with sea kelp and shampoo as well.)

Yeah Panda, I did that. It balled up. That is why I decided to use the mixer. I just don't think it will mix. I've done all I can do, and I don't want to waste any more product. So I'll just do them separately.

I'm not sure why, but today my hair seems a bit crispy after the sea kelp treatment. Maybe I put too much in! Ah.. who knows! Experimentation is the only answer, so I shall keep plugging away! Feeling like a mad scientist!! Ah ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't rinse it off completely, it works like a gel.
