I'm real pleased with how this experiment turned out.

Sea Kelp
Vaseline - equal parts for about 1/4 .oz
2 Drops glycerin
2 Drops Sodium PCA
Lycopene antioxidant concentrate
Antioxidant booster - enough of these two to color.

This takes a lot of mixing but when you're done you should have a tangerine colored blob that makes a great balm for lips. I didn't add any preservative but I'm thinking a couple drops of Germaben wouldn't hurt. Also when I say two drops of sodium PCA, I mean exactly two, it tends to suck up the surrounding moisture. This doesn't color the lips so guys could use this too.

This is a nice, simple recipe. I mixed up a batch this morning, adding the Germaben, as suggested. I also put in a couple drops of a vitamin E/CoQ10 mixture. One other addition was a drop of fragrance from the lip health kit. What I like about this balm is that it has a lighter (less "claustrophobic") feel than so many petroleum-based lip balms. Thanks K-kitten!

I'm so happy you like it. I like your idea for scent. I was thinking last night some flavor might be nice too, but that might just entice me to lick it off my lips.

it seems great! People here should have etsy shops or something  Even though it's probably simple to do and I should too when I'm less lazy
