Hi, i'm new to the boards and have a few questions regarding two products i'm thinking of buying to shift some stubborn pigmentation. Firstly, with the Skin Brightening Cream, are there any actives I can safely add to the mixture in order to improve its potency? The discolouration I am trying to fade is rather stubborn as I said and since i'm ordering from London I would like to purchase a few actives with the cream all in one go. It just means that if i'm not seeing any results within a month or so I can instantly add to the cream instead of having to wait a couple of weeks for the products to be shipped to me.

Secondly, i'm looking to use this in conjunction with the Complete Hydrophilic Antioxidant Serum - is it okay to use these products together? I plan to use the serum under my high PPD sunscreen during the day and then use it underneath the SBC at night. Thanks for your help!

I don't see a reason to add anything else to Skin Brightening Cream, it's loaded as it is. I would give it a try for a couple of months and go from there if you don't see results. But you need to give it time, and I would use it twice/day.

It's ok to use the two together. Just remember the rule of thumb: serums, creams, then lipids. Use CHAS first, then Skin Brightening, then your sunscreen.

I might also suggest adding BKRW at night. That too may help your pigmentation issues.

Hi,
This is my first time at this site.  I am currently using the Skin Brightening Cream, approximately two-three weeks now, and I've also been using lemon juice.  I've noticed that the lemon juice combined with the Skin Brightening Cream is lightening the melasma.  I use a few drops of the lemon juice on the brown patches, I let it dry and then apply the Skin Brightening Cream.  It's too soon to tell but I do see a little difference.  Anyway, my question is, should I try the Lemon Peel Extract instead of the fresh lemon juice?  I'm thinking of buying the Lemon Extract but want to see if anyone has used it and had positive results. Thanks in advance.

We are talking about very different chemicals, different actives.  The lemon peel bioferment is from the peel.

Why do you think that the lemon juice will work? The lemon juice is providing you with a relatively low pH. If you are doing it for exfoliation, maybe you could separate it from the cream, like doing it at separate times during the day.

I thought the lemon juice would work because I've heard that it is used as a lightening/bleaching agent.  I have also tried it at different times, separate from the Skin Brightening Cream.  In any case, I thought that if I use the lemon peel extract instead of the lemon juice it would give me better results since the extract is concentrated.  Would it be a good addition to my regimen in fighting melasma?  Thanks.

Our lemon peel bioferment  would be a good addition for melasma treatment.

I am not aware of studies done with lemon juice for melasma.
