Hello

As much as I love the Liquid Rainbow, I don't like the applicator and wand because it tends to leak and I can't put it in my handbag.  So, I was thinking about transferring it to lip gloss squeezy tube (a nearly empty MAC lip gelee tube).  Has anyone tried doing this?  What did you use to transfer it?

Thanks!

Hi!

I haven't done that but you usually get a pipette or two from SkinActives when you order something from them.  I believe they recommend using the pipette to transfer the liquid rainbow.  Otherwise, I have no idea how else you could do it...  it's not the easiest of substances to handle.  =)  Perhaps you could try squeezing all of the air out of the tube and try to use it as a sunction to pull the liquid rainbow into it....  ??  If you don't have a pipette, you may be able to request one from SAS but I don't know if they would charge you for it or not.  I'd recommend laying out a sheet of wax paper before you do it.  That way, if any spills, you'll still be able to use it... even if you only end up using the spilled bits as a moisturizer or something.  =)  I hope your transfer goes well!!

Cass.

Let's see what Jonatan says about using the ZITender container for Liquid Rainbow.

You might try heating it up a little first, either in the microwave or bain marie. Liquid Rainbow is VERY thick, so even using the pipettes, it's challenging transferring it into almost any vessel that has a thin neck or small opening.

Do tell! I haven't tried SAS's Zitender (I usually just make my own) What does the vial look/behave like?

What does the Zitender vial look like?  I couldn't see a picture in the catalogue.  If these would work, are they available empty?

The small pipettes are a just too large for the tube hole.

We are a little behind on our pictures. I will try to get an image up in the next couple of weeks.
